Zombies geared to attack and plants better for defending like they are supposed to but it just works. One team may out rank the other round continuously win but the design of the game is very even across the board. Everything feels very well balanced Whether in TDM or a completely attack and defend game mode like G&G or Taco, the game never really feels too unbalanced. Sure some idiot on your team will bring the taco back towards the plants but its just so lighthearted and silly that you'll probably just laugh. Honestly its hard to be mad at this game. Pros: -Fun for all ages -Lots of customization and character variation (4 classes per side, type variations for each class and ability) Peashooter and Fire Peashooter Allstar and Hockey player version -Exciting game modes= Team Death Match (Feels right at home) Garden and Graveyards (Simplified version of BF rush mode) Gnome Bomb (Comparable to BF Obliteration mode) Suburbanization (Domination) Taco Bandits (Kinda like CTF, Zombies try to steal a taco from plants 3 times) -Free Updates (The last one included the latter 2 game modes and tons of customization items) -Easy to play/ Not stressful The game was my saving grace from games like Battlefield or KZ Shadow Fall (Still play them). But besides my personal interests, the game itself is actually incredibly well designed and Ill cut to the chase. It takes the fundamentals of the played out shooter genre (which I actually am a fan of) and adds a ridiculous theme from one of my favorite mobile games.

I found this game to be something really special. It PvZ is definitely not a traditional shooter by any means and that is what makes it great. But if you value the ability to go back and play your favorite games whenever YOU feel like doing so, and games that allow you to relax in an alternate world instead of requiring you to create a budget for ingame spending, avoid it at all costs.PvZ is definitely not a traditional shooter by any means and that is what makes it great. So if you are willing to spend $60 on a disc that will eventually become nothing but a drink coaster and treats you like you didn't even buy the game in the first place, expecting you to pay more after the fact, go right ahead and buy it.

They also do this to ensure that no tampering can be done with the premium game's free-to-play currency system, which is an insult to gamers that remember the days when those "services" were obtainable not through real world money, but through cheat codes, which were free to everyone. Publishers are counting on this, because in theory if you are unable to play the old game, you have more incentive to buy the new one. The problem with this is actually that it transforms what could be a quality game to add to your collection to play forever, into a glorified rental that, given the reputation of the publisher, will only be playable for 2-3 years before it becomes nothing but fond memories. Many short-sighted people mistakenly believe the complaints about this are due to a lack of internet access, so if you have internet you have nothing to worry about. Even the solo content requires an internet connection. Even the This is a quality game, however, it unfortunately takes advantage of the ignorance of casual gamers and implements always-online drm.
